The 3 clear steps - Plan of Salvation

Step 1 Agree with God that you have sinned.
“Everyone has sinned and is far away from God’s saving presence,” Romans 3:23 TEV.

Sin is usually defined as any act, which includes thoughts as well as deeds, done in conscious and deliberate violation of God's will as expressed in His word - the Bible. Scripture says that "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). The implication of the verse is that we were created to bring glory to God, since He is holy, perfect, and complete; to be less than a reflection of His holiness or to fall short of perfection is sin. No man except Jesus Christ ever lived perfection.


Step 2 Believe that God loves you and offers forgiveness to those who in sincerity asks.
“For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord…" Romans 6:23 KJV

Believe that Jesus paid the price for your sins by dying on the cross. Believe He was buried and after 3 days rose from the grave. “In Him [Jesus Christ} we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” Ephesians 1:7a


Step 3 Confess before others that Jesus is Lord.
“…he that confesses me before men, him I [Jesus] will also confess before My Father who is in heaven … Matthew 10:32

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
