Dr. Greg McFadden, Senior Pastor, and Sheila married in 1983.  They have two sons and one daughter, Ryan, Joey, and Lily.  They came to FBC in October 2002.  Both Greg and Sheila graduated from Union University.  Greg received his Master of Christian Education from Southern Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice.  Greg accepted Christ at age 16.  He became a pastor in 1984.  Sheila came to Jesus at age 9.  She is gifted in music and is a soloist as well as choir member.  Their deepest desire is to glorify God in all things and lead others to do so. Philippians 2:13

Bro. Steve Babcock, Minister of Missions, Discipleship, & Administration, and Dottie married in 1973.  They have two married daughters; Dee Dee married to Dan Leatherwood, who have their 4 grandchildren and Becky married to Joey Mitchell. They both graduated from Union University and Steve attended Southwestern Seminary.  Steve became a believer at the age of 16 and Dottie was 8 years old.  They spent 16 years in West Africa as IMB missionaries.  They came to FBC in February 2004 and feel working with our college students is an extra blessing.  Colossians 3:17

Bro.  Kevin Hamilton, Minister of Worship and Music, and Cheryl married in 1980. They have two grown children; their son, Drew and daughter,  Megan .  They came to FBC in August 1999. Kevin is a Union and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary graduate. Lovingly, he is tagged as Minister of Comedy. As a child, Kevin received Christ as his Savior during VBS.  Cheryl graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.  She sings in the choir and is a gifted Bible study facilitator.  She works as a secretary in our Humboldt school systems.  She became a believer as a young child.  Philippians 4:13

Jaclyn Scott, Minister to families of Preschoolers and Children, and Greg married in 2001.  They have three children - Kara, Gabe, and JP.  Both Jaclyn and Greg graduated from Lambeth University.  Greg has a Master of Education from Trevecca University.  Jaclyn became a believer at age 10. Greg decided to follow Christ at age 12.  Greg enjoys singing in the choir and ensembles. He is a soloist, also.  They started ministry at FBC in 2007. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Russell Stanphill, Minister to Students, and Susan married in 2008 and they have one daughter, Lyla.  Russell accepted Christ at age 8.  Russ graduated from Hardin-Simmons and Southwestern Theological Seminary.  Susan was an eighth grader when she received Christ.  She received her Master of Education from Union and teaches Spanish at the Humboldt Schools.  She loves mentoring young ladies, teaching, and leading prayer groups for the students.  Russ and Susan arrived at FBC in 2008. Philippians 4:8

Ethan Giles, Assistant to the College Minister, and his wife Bethany were married in June 2012. Both graduated from Union University. Ethan was saved at the age of 8 during VBS. Bethany was saved at 7 years of age. They are grateful for the opportunity to give back to the ministry they grew up in while at college. 1 Peter 2:12

Pamela is the administrative assistant at FBC Humboldt.  Pamela grew up as a pastor's daughter and married a pastor's son, Keith.  They live in Milan, TN and have two children; Nathan, 10 and Alyssa, 6.   Pamela received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Union University in 1997.  She started serving at FBC Humboldt in 2003.  As a family, they enjoy spending time at Tae Kwon Do and Gymnastic classes, playing games together and visiting with family and friends.  Pamela's greatest joy is watching children grow in their knowledge of Christ.

Katie has been married to Jim Laughlin for 30 years, mom of five blessings (Valerie, Abby, Daniel, Robin and Jack) and grandmother of one precious granddaughter, Addie.
Katie has been part of the FBC support team since 2000, and church pianist since 1999. Katie serves as the office manager and financial administrator.  Katie loves music and being part of the worship team.
Favorite verses are Proverbs 18:10, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runs into it and is safe.” And Psalm 4:8, “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

Gale Parks has been a member of FBC Humboldt since 1985.  She started serving in the FBC office in 2011.  She is widowed and has 2 children,  4 grandchildren and  1 great-grandchild.  Gale is an active member of the FBC Choir and serves in the FBC office as Ministry Support Assistant.

Stephanie is Director of our Children's Learning Center at FBC Humboldt. She started serving in the CLC in 2002.  Stephanie holds a Bachelor of University Studies degree from UT Martin, an Associates degree in Early Childhood from Dyersburg State Community College and is currently working on her Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Bethel University. Stephanie and her husband, Tracy, have two sons: Cameron and Alex.

Laura started serving as Publications Specialist at FBC in 2011.  She is responsible for print publications such as the Worship Bulletin along with digital publications such as the website.  Laura was born in Kenton, TN and graduated from Gibson County High School.  She received her B.S. in Art Education from the University of TN at Martin.  She received her M.A. in Secondary Art Education from Murray State University.  She and her husband, Danny, live in Humboldt, TN and have three children: Ryland, Beckett & Bella-Jewel.  Laura and Danny became members of FBC in 2009.  Laura facilitates the MOMS group at FBC and has a desire to grow with other Moms in Christ as she raises her children.
